Downtown Miami, Miami's version of Manhattan

Downtown Miami has rapidly grown in the past decade. It is now known as a “work meets play” environment because of its cosmopolitan vibe. Its iconic skyscrapers light up the Miami skyline and provide beautiful views of South Beach and Miami Beach across the Biscayne Bay.

The Downtown Miami Area is comprised of different areas including the popular Brickell, a banking hub and residential community including high rise condos, restaurants, bars and clubs.  Other surrounding areas include the arts district of Wynwnood, the Design District, South Beach and Coconut Grove.

One of the main attractions in Downtown Miami is the American Airlines Arena, home to the Miami Heat. The arena is a waterfront 19,600 seat venue and has hosted some of the biggest names as a performing space such as Madonna, the Rolling Stones, Cher, Usher, Lady Gaga and more. Downtown Miami has an evolving arts and cultural scene that has 30 arts and culture organizations and over 60 art studios. Even while driving through Downtown Miami you can see a wide range of art on the streets including sculptures, museums and more.
